While the world saw them for their sins and their pasts, Jesus saw brokenness... Traumas... Lies... Ploys of the enemy to steer us away from love... And the only way to win these precious ones back was through a radical forgiveness, an unmerited grace... "He desires mercy and not sacrifice" was about love for one another through forgiveness for one another... Their sacrifices were selfish and not for others... Therefore, He became the ultimate sacrifice on our behalf.
